Pointon & Sempringham Parish Council

To all councillors of Pointon & Sempringham Parish Council you are hereby summoned to the Parish Council Meeting to be held on Thursday 16th June 2022 at 19:30 at St Gilbert Primary School.

The Chairman may, at his discretion and at a convenient time in the transaction of business, adjourn the meeting to allow any members of the public to address the meeting.  Parishioners and others in attendance are reminded that they must remain silent during the transaction of Council business.

1.   To receive and accept apologies for absence

2.   Declarations of Interest:

Disclosure by Councillors of their personal interests in regard to matters on the agenda and whether the councillor regards their interest as prejudicial under the terms of the Code of Conduct.

3.   Public questions or comments:

Up to 15 minutes will be available for the public to make representations or questions. Please note that under Data protection regulations we ask members of the public to only state their name if they agree to their name being recorded.

4.   To receive reports from Outside Bodies, the Clerk and Councillors for any matters relating to;

Playing Field (PCPF & PFC) – To Discuss and resolve to make payments to the PCPF a Standing Order..

Parish Council – To discuss and resolve the use of the playing field for a birthday party.

5.   Minutes of previous meetings:

To agree the minutes of the meeting held on 19th May 2022.

6.   Planning Matters: To Consider responses to Planning Applications:

No new planning applications.

7.   Traffic Calming for Pointon and Millthorpe Crossroads:

Update from Cllr Freeman & Cllr Ramm regarding traffic calming.

8.   Platinum Jubilee:

To receive an update regarding the Platinum Jubilee celebration event.

To receive invoice of Jubilee bench of £1514.40, payment on delivery.

9.   Finances:

To receive the latest Financial Reports.

To resolve to approve the latest payments;

PhoneBox Restoration - £750 (Already paid as approved at previous meeting)
Jubilee Coins - £518.30
Jubilee Clock - £1173.60 (Previously approved)
