POINTON & SEMPRINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and elected Members are summoned to attend a meeting of Pointon & Sempringham Parish Council to be held at St Gilbert Primary School on 7th July 2026 at 7.30pm at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

AGENDA
The Parish Council may pass a resolution on any agenda item, even if the agenda does not specifically state ‘to resolve to approve’. The wording ‘to resolve to approve’ in certain circumstances could be interpreted as predetermination.
Chairman’s Welcome and Housekeeping Arrangements.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION
To receive reports from outside bodies.
- Report from C. Cllr Hill.
- Report from D. Cllr Abel
- Questions or Points raised by residents and members of the public.
Fifteen minutes are set aside for members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any questions; a response may be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to the agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting
COUNCIL SESSION
1. To receive any reports of member’s interest, Pecuniary or Non-Pecuniary in relation to the agenda and any dispensations in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
2. To receive and accept Apologies for Absence.
3. To approve the clerk’s notes for the meeting held on the 2nd June 2026 and for the chair to sign.
4. Clerk’s Report – To receive an update of developments between meetings
5. Policies - To review and accept the policy:
a) Risk Register
b) Data Breach Policy
6. To consider moving the Council meeting to the Village Hall, to help with internet access.
7. To agree a date and councillors to attend a meeting with Pointon football club.
8. Date and time of Parish Council Meeting – None agreed
9. Questions from the public.
