POINTON & SEMPRINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and elected Members are summoned to attend a meeting of Pointon & Sempringham Parish Council to be held at St Gilbert Primary School on 2rd June 2026 at 7.30pm at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

AGENDA
The Parish Council may pass a resolution on any agenda item, even if the agenda does not specifically state ‘to resolve to approve’. The wording ‘to resolve to approve’ in certain circumstances could be interpreted as predetermination.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION
To receive reports from outside bodies.

- Questions or Points raised by residents and members of the public.
Fifteen minutes are set aside for members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the Council. The Council may choose not to answer any questions; a response may be given in writing. Matters raised may be added to the agenda for a future meeting. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the Parish Council meeting after the public session but are not permitted to speak during the meeting
COUNCIL SESSION
1. To receive any reports of member’s interest, Pecuniary or Non-Pecuniary in relation to the agenda and any dispensations in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
2. To receive and accept Apologies for Absence.
3. To approve the clerk’s notes for the meeting held on the 5th May 2026 and for the chair to sign.
4. To elect the members of the Staffing Committee and review the terms of reference.
5. Clerk’s Report – To receive an update of developments between meetings
6. AGAR 2025/26: To finalise the accounts for the year 2025/26
a) End of Year: Cash book and bank reconciliation as of 31st March 2026
b) To receive and consider the Internal Auditors report.
c) Annual Governance and Accountability Return: Section 1, Governance Statement. To approve and for the Chairman and Clerk to sign.
d) Annual Governance and Accountability Return: Section 2. To approve and for the Chairman to sign. The Responsible Finance Officer has already signed and dated the document.
e) Analysis of Variances. To approve the variances.
f) Notice of the period for the exercise of public rights and other information required by Regulation 15 (2), Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015. To approve the dates Thursday 4rd June – Wednesday 15th July 2026
