The General meeting of Pointon & Sempringham Parish Council will be held on 25th June 2020 at 7.30pm via ZOOM
AGENDA
1. Chairman’s welcome.
Public forum. This will last for 15 minutes, after which the Parish Council meeting will commence at 7.45pm.
2. Apologies of absence.
a. To receive apologies for absence and acceptance of any reason give.
3. Declarations of interest.
a) To receive any additional declarations of interest in accordance with Localism Act 2011.
4. Notes of the general meeting held on 27th February 2020 to be approved as the minutes.
5. Matters arising from the minutes.
6. Admin.
a. To retrospectively approve the grant of £100 to the village school.
b. To retrospectively approve the grant of £60 to Peterborough Hospital for fabric.
c. To retrospectively approve the payment of £161.38 to C.Mackenzie for payment via her own bank card to HMRC for the previous Clerks tax and Ni.(2019-20).
d. To retrospectively approve C.Mackenzie to have full access to the bank accounts.
e. To retrospectively approve the costs for painting the flower tubs, (general maintenance).
f. To retrospectively appoint Mrs. J.Cocking to complete the internal audit (at a cost of £40) in time for this meeting, so the AGAR forms can be duly signed.
g. To consider the hire of a skip for removal of rubbish in the playing field.
h. To retrospectively approve the purchase of the fuel for the tractor.
7. Financial matters.
a. To receive the financial report.
b. To receive the Internal Auditors report.
c. To approve the Annual Governance Statement.
d. To approve the Statement of Accounts.
e. To approve the Certificate of Exemption.
f. To authorise the Chairman to sign the Annual Return to the external auditors.
8. Planning matters.
a. To raise any issues regarding recent planning applications.
9. Correspondence.
a. To discuss the retirement of the postmistress and closure of the post office.
b. To discuss email received regarding a piece of land as an allotment.
10. Councillors reports & items for inclusion at the next meeting.
a. Councillors are requested to use this opportunity to report minor matters of information not included elsewhere on the agenda and to raise items for future agendas.
11. To confirm the date of the general parish meeting 10th September 2020 at 7.30pm via Zoom.
12. To resolve whether to move into closed session and exclude public, police and press in accordance with the Local Government Act 1972 due to the confidential nature of business to be discussed in relation to the following matters:-
