Points raised by the electors:

Play Equipment – Do the grants currently being searched and applied for require match funding? None of the grants require match funding.

Sports & Social Club – At an earlier Parish Council meeting Cllr Greenwood had been asked about the money left in the account when the Sports & Social Club had closed. It was questioned if any of the remaining funds could go towards new play equipment. It was pointed out that as per the constitution like minded groups could have money donated to them.

It was clarified that at present the money was still sat in the account. Electors felt that as the club now did not exist and as a gesture of goodwill the money going towards the play equipment would benefit the football club and its supporters.

Drainage – It was commented that the surface water runs from Brittens Lane into West Road and it was felt that there could be a possible drain collapse.

Village Hall – The Chair of the Village Hall stated that at the end of April the Village Hall will be holding its AGM and they need volunteers to stand, please could people put their names forward to stand for the positions.

The meeting closed at 6.55pm.
